About

I'm a B2B content strategist and executive ghostwriter based in Brooklyn. I help founders and executives turn what they know into content people actually consume, then build the systems the work runs on. I run Total Emphasis, a B2B ghostwriting practice working with Fortune 500 companies, startups, and everyone in between, including IBM, Realeyes, UpWave, UST, 33 Across, Grip, Battenhall, and M&C Saatchi Performance.

I started as a reporter in 2004, was editor-in-chief of PRWeek, and have ghostwritten executive thought leadership since 2009, from LinkedIn posts and bylines to newsletters, reports, and whitepapers. I'm an operator-ghostwriter: I also build the tools behind the work, including an AI newsletter engine, MCP servers for my CRM, and a desktop app for my ghostwriting pipeline.

For a verifiable record of what I've actually written, see the bylines archive. For the canonical bio and credentials, see the press kit.

Newsletters

I run several newsletters: 141 Miles, a publication about the Jersey Shore, and The Diffraction, a music publication. On hiatus: Survival Signal, a newsletter about how to be an independent worker.

Previously

I've held roles at tmrw life sciences, Haymarket Media (PRWeek + DMN editor-in-chief), Horizon Media, and Attention USA.

Outside
of work

I'm an avid learner: I read and cook a lot, and I'm trying very hard to remain on the soccer pitch and lower my golf handicap.
